I am writing a blog post on censored items. Censored items are when someone blocked the site or picture maybe even a video and more because they think its races, inappropriate, its gory and more. Some things that are sensored are this picture that I am choosing not to put on my blog. This picture is censored even though it is cartoon. on to the next photo. this picture is censored because of raceism.the next photo i am going to show you is because of the fact that it is gory.

What I’ve learned about my topic.
I have learned so much about this topic that I don’t know where to begin. I guess I’ll start at the beginning. The first thing I learned about this project is that animal cruelty and abuse happens to all types of animals weather it’s dogs, cats, snakes, cows, chickens the list goes on and on. Another thing I have learned is how you can stop the cruelty or at least help prevent it. Also I learned some rights and laws on animal cruelty. For example you will get fined if you abuse animals. Those are some of the many things that I learned while doing this International Teen Life video.
What I have learned about collaborating locally and nationally.
I have learned many things about collaborating locally and nationally as a group. One of those many things have been to accept that we all have different ascents and to work with other peoples ideas. Another thing would be to communicate well, the ones locally are easy to communicate but with the ones nationally it is difficult because of the time difference and the distance. I like collaborating with kids around the globe because you get to experience what life is like there, how thing are different, differences in schools, and other things such as religion and violence. Its really neat to meet people that are so different then you are because then you could and probably will be amazed about some of the events that they had to go through there. And the amazing part is that we got to experience this all in middle school! Most people wouldn’t get this chance in their whole lifetime.
The things that would have made the project easer to accomplish.
The things that would have made the video run more smoothly would be a huge list so I will only name a few. The first on the list is the actual video, the video was very dark and we could barely see the person talking in it. The second would have to be the audio because we would record some thing and the next day it would be in a whole bunch of different files we had to import audio a lot. The third in the list would have to be the music, it we had a hard time finding it and it took a long time to import it but we made it through. The fourth would be that we had so many technical difficulties that I can’t even remember them all! I think the video would be more interesting if we had a bit more information in it and a little more description about the laws and rights of animals. The video could have been better by having brighter video and clearer audio. But the pomes are fantastic!
The things I have learned about telling a story.
I have learned many things about telling a story including music, pictures, videos, voice, and most of all text. The music has to set the mood for the whole project. Take my subject, animal cruelty you can’t have bubbly music with a serious topic like that! The pictures have to be in time with the music and have the pictures matching the subject. You can’t have a subject titled animal cruelty with a picture of purple unicorns and fluffy bunny’s underneath it. The video itself is a powerful thing. It’s showing that it’s actually happening and that we are not making this up! How this is happening and we are not preventing it! The voice is a big part of it too the voices have to be clear and understandable so that people know what’s going on in the video. Now for the biggest part of the video the text. Text is everything above text is expressed through music, pictures, videos, voice, writing and more! So you can’t have a video without text!

I would like to do my project on bullying in school. I mostly want to do bullying because it happens often and people commit suicide sometimes to escape it. I think it is an issue because it hurts when people get bullied people should stop it. It would be great if we could get more people interested in this topic.I would like to do a skit and post it on the internet. I think a skit would be a great way to express bullying.

Hey
Sorry I haven’t been writing that often but I’ve been busy with Christmas and all. The reason I am writing this post is because I am doing a project on aids. For those who don’t know aids is a sexually transmitted disease that is killing people, mostly in Africa. I chose this topic for a few reasons they are:
- I think I can make a difference.
- It’s an interesting topic.
- It’s a big health issue.
Those are the reasons that I am doing this topic. I would like to learn about new technology going towards aids or how it’s transmitted I would like to know symptoms and how you can tell you have it. I would like to know as much as I can. I am going to find web sites books and talk to experts on the topic. If you have any information on aids please tell me about it if you have any recommendations on the topic please tell me.

On Monday we watched “an inconvenient truth” in class it really got to me and it made me feel like my children (when I have them) are going to boil like a frog, it’s a part in the movie if you drop a frog in boiling water then it will jump out but if you put one in air temperature then slowly bring it to a boil it will just sit there! That’s what we are doing we are slowly boiling ourselves and we are not doing anything to stop it so pretty much were the stupid frog. This documentary scared me and made me think that all this is happening and I never even realized it, it made me feel like I NEED to stop global warming, if you don’t recycle then I think you should start. It also made shocked me that we may have another ice age because of global warming. It bugs me that people are just sitting there and watching this happen! Elgore said “the 10 hottest years all happened in the last 14 years the hottest of all was 2005” he also said “the things we take for granted may not be around for our children” I don’t think its fair do you? There are alot of things to be worried about when it comes to the enviroment. like greenhouse gasses or global warming even the trees that are being cut down evrey day now to make chairs, beds, tables, desks and anything else wood! I am concerned about the fact that lots of islands will be under water and shanghai china will have parts underwater in a matter of fifty years! That is in my lifetime and hopefully yours! I am worried are you?

For my environmental blog post it is going to focus on air pollution. And my next post will be the cutting down of trees. There are several ways to pollute the air, one of which is smoking. It doesn’t only kill you but it also kills those around you. It also pollutes the air. Another way to pollute the air is by methane, methane is a colour less odorless powerful gas that is produced by cows. You herd me cow farts

The environment is filled with ecosystems. There are water ecosystems, there are forest ecosystems, there are swamp ecosystems, and there are ecosystems that happen in towns or cities. In an ecosystem, there are many biotic (living things) and abiotic (non-living things). The things create a community; communities do not have to be made of people they can be of animals too. A couple of days ago my teacher Mr. fisher told us about global warming and how it could come in a time period of fifty years! That is in my life span. Scientists proved that in fifty years parts of Shanghai china would be under water from ice caps melting. I do not want to see that happen. Shanghai china is not the only place that would be under water. Imagine one million people walking across the country trying to get away from water. Global warming also causes droughts that can stop our food supply and kill many people. I don’t want to see that happen, do you?
