What I know to be true is that no one can control your life but you. I used to think that you cant make your own choices without asking your mom, your dad or even your teacher. Think about it, well at least for me. I felt that my whole life was just a repeat of something I did before. In the morning I wake up, go to school, go home from school, do homework, go on the computer, do chores. none of those were my decisions. my mom would wake me up and send me to school, my teacher would make me do my work and go home, then the rest is my mom again! I hated it so I decided to talk control. I joined a military programme called Junior Canadian Rangers, it’s a fun group that lets you decide what you want to do and it gives you options. Now I learned how to make my own decisions and I discovered that life does give you choices. For example you can live your life to the fullest or you can mope around feeling sorry for yourself. Personally, about a year ago I chose to live my life to the fullest and I travelled to BC with the JCR’s ( the group I told you about earlier) and I went zip-lining, kayaking, mountain climbing, climbed 50 foot trees, canoed, did a high ropes course, and more. but my favorite part would have to be meeting all of the amazing people along the way. but don’t get me wrong, everyone has through rough patches. I used to hurt my body on purpose to try and take control of my life. until a great friend made me realize that all I was doing was hurting myself and not doing anything good. so I stopped. I may not be the smartest person on earth or the greatest inventor of all time, but if there’s one thing I do know, it’s that no one can run your life but you.

Hi,
My name is Kathryn. but everyone calls me Kate…except my mom, she calls me Joey, long story.. but I have the time. Before my great grandfather died he used to call me topogejo (if its spelled like that) so after he died, in his memory my parents shortened it down to Josephine, then to Joe, then up to joey. My parents named my sister Alex after him. All three of the kids in my family are named after one of our relatives. My name is Kathryn Marie, named after my grandmother Agnes Marie, my sister Ellyn RaeAnne was named after my auntie. and my sister Alexandra Jayne was named after my great grandfather Alexander (he didn’t have a middle name). I am the middle child and I have no brothers. My dad Terry was born and raised here in snow lake, but eventually he left home to go to a university in Brandon, where he met my mom Colleen. My Mom lived in Vancouver in BC when she was young and then also came to Brandon to go to school. They lived in Brandon for a while and got married.after Ellyn and I were born we moved here to snow lake, I’ve lived here ever since. All I remember about living in Brandon was going to the Velvet dip for ice cream or a frozen banana dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts. When I was about ten I was in kung-fu, I was one of the 4 students he had. he eventually moved away. after three years I joined track for the first time. now I like to play basket ball, badminton, and floor hockey, I also like to throw a football back and fourth with my friends or my dad. Last year was selected to go on a trip to Strathcona Park with the Junior Canadian Rangers. We Zip-lined, kayaked, went Rock climbing and repelled, we even did stuff like climbing 50 foot trees to the top. I was selected to go again for another week. well I think you all should know enough about me so now I will tell you about the challenge, the 30 day challenge. I am going to leave as many comments as I can on as many different blogs. I hoped you enjoyed your stay at my blog about anything. Please leave a comment.
bye =)
