~♥~TED TALKS~♥~
Hi, me again.
I would like to talk about my TED talks project. My project is on child poverty around the world. It took a lot of research to make my power point make any sense at all. I learned a lot of notes about researching during this period of time. One thing I learned is not to round. If you go to two different web sites and they give you different dates you can either go to another web site and see what it says or you can use both dates and say that those are the most likely dates. I also learned that you should always read more then one source of information, encase it is wrong. Another lesson I learned is that never believe every thing you read. One web site actually said that only homosexual people could get AIDS, which is completely untrue. Some other facts I learned about researching is that you should search with other search engines like google, yahoo, ask.com, dogpile, msdewey (one of my personal favourites)_ etc. last but not least you can use different resources. You can use books, the Internet, blogs, you can make a survey and ask people around your town\city, and you can even ask your teacher or fellow classmates. I learned a lot of researching tips during the process of making my presentation. I hope they help.
bye =)
