Egypt…The Gift of the Nile.
Hey,
In social studies lately we have been working on Ancient Egypt. I have learned a lot during this subject. I have learned things about their religion and art, their clothing and traditions, even what kind of food they ate. Also I learned about things like wars they had and how their empire stayed protected for so long. I liked that subject because I found it interesting how long they kept their empire and also I found it interesting how in
Egypt there was barely any change. But we have been working on other things too.
We have also been working on a science fair project. For my science fair project I chose to be partners with Paige. Me and Paige did an experimentation project, we grinded up some different kinds of food then we blond folded a couple different people and plugged their noses then we recorded what they thought the food was, only a couple people guessed it right on the first try. We did this experiment in 3 days with 3 different foods each day. In the end we agreed that “Grind It Up!” was a suitable title for our project. Mr. Fisher has been keeping us busy in our little classroom…but I wouldn’t have it any other way, I found that I learned so much from this experience.
