In class we are talking about our required reading. In my folder I have a few blogs in my folder that I liked. In some of their blogs they talk about project red and why they do it. I think project red is a great idea. The kids deserve it. Project red is a program that lots of companies make their products the same only red. Some of that money goes to the study of aids.

I picked these blogs because I think that they are interesting, well written and I like how they talk in detail about project red.
This is the guy who thought of project red.

We are taking about our required reading. We have Nata village on our required reading file. Nata village talks about kids in Africa who never had a toy that was bought from a store! It also talks about how kids make toys out of ant thing that they could find. There is also a post about “project red”. It is a project that includes many companies. Each company makes something red and a portion of their earnings go to aids in Africa! Apple has made a red ipod nano that goes toward reaserch.

Hey
I found out that I wont see my dad for a while. But the good news is that we will get to visit him every weekend unlike when he was in Mexico. He’s working in Thompson now so he is not that far away. Another good thing is when we do go to visit him there are places to shop. I never used to like shopping but people change!

Hey it’s me again of course J we are learning about the middle ages in class. We have a test that is pretty big I am kind of nervous though because it sounds like it will be hardL. Ill just have to study that much harder. I am not good with the studying thing so if you have any ideas for me can you please tell me them! Back to the Middle Ages topic I think it would be hard to live back then because they had to work all day every day! I am glad I didn’t live back then! But in the future those people will probably be amazed what we have to do, with all the new inventions they might not even have to go to the store! I would rather live in the future then in the past. Wouldn’t you?

I love my blog so much I can write what I want when I want except when my mom or sister is on the computer. My favorite part about having a blog is that it can be due on a Sunday and you cannot forget it at home or at school. I also like how you can write on it even if it is not for homework. The thing I worry about with blogs is that its world wide and if I say something to offend them then they will get mad at me and I wont no why. Other wise I think blogs are a great idea.

Hey in class we are learning about feudal Europe and what life was like back then. We are working on a project of our choice about it. I am making and presenting a model on town life in the middle ages. Town life was hard back then because they farmed until their hands bled, gave some of their food to the nobles and if they didn’t grow enough food they would starve. Now we go to a store for food and we don’t have to give it away. We got to pick what we did for these projects and how they are marked. For instance he said that we can pick what we are doing but it has to be about the middle ages. The technology has come so far from what it was, like plumbing they used to poop in a bucket and throw it out the window onto the street! I would hate to be the one walking underneath them when the do that!! Now we have toilets so people don’t dump poop on other people’s heads. Also we have cars so that people could travel places and not have to walk the whole way. Today I was thinking that if were studying people who were alive in the middle ages then way in the future those people will be studying us.

In class we are talking about pictures and the difference between good pictures and bad pictures. I and my partner Ashley.H made a file on flickr.com called “purple”. To edit our pictures we looked at the colour, line, shape and point of view. I think good colours for pictures have to suit the subject. The lines in a picture I think should be visible.
